Painting foundation mix onto the skin with a Bella Vi Flat Tapered Foundation Brush
Before I start to apply any makeup to skin I always prep with a moisturiser or more often a good primer. First impression with the Bella Vi Primer I noticed the skin transform as the hydration increased.
From taut and dull looking it became dewy and plump, this created an excellent base to apply makeup to.
By mixing a tiny amount of the extremely concentrated Certified Organic Bella Vi liquid foundation with the Bella Vi Primer I created a lightweight foundation similar to a BB cream or tinted moisturiser. It created a medium coverage but the skin still looked fresh and luminous.
Buffing the foundation and primer mix onto the skin with a Bella Vi Flat Top Kabuki Brush
Something else Bella Vi has produced that is worth looking at is their makeup brush range. I'm really impressed with the quality and array of different qualities their brushes have.
For a flawless but invisible finish to your makeup base I recommend buffing foundation onto the skin. Buffing distributes the foundation across the skin in a fine even layer. Foundation buffing brushes are available in abundance at the moment. What I have found using the Bella Vi Flat Top Kabuki brush is that it's extremely dense and does an excellent job of blending a large area quickly.
To complete a foundation base I apply concealer with a small brush to any area's on the skin that may need extra cover. The Certified Organic Concealer Bella Vi has produced is rich in Vitamins with a great harmony of coloured pigmented mineral powders and the benefit of a long lasting beeswax base. It applies effortlessly to the skin and lasts well.
Applying Bella Vi Pressed Powder Foundation onto the skin with a Bella Vi Powder Brush
When it comes to powder on the skin I look for products that are ultra-fine and have been micro milled. They allow a buildable coverage without looking cakey. Also they need to have the ability to truely match to the natural skin colour of my clients.
Bella Vi have done exceptionally well creating a range of different shades perfect for South Pacific skin tones. Ranging from Ivory to Hawaiian Sands these hues stay away from orange and pink, blending perfectly with most skin tones with their neutral olive and almond undertones.
